A Victorian 18ct gold consular half hunter cased pocket watch by Charles Frodsham, 84 Strand, London, No. 01761, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and up/down dial, the gold hands with double spade terminal, the dial also bearing makers name and number, to the free sprung AD Fmsz 3/4 plate movement with diamond endstone, contained in engine turned case with wide Royal blue enamel chapter ring to cover with Roman numerals, 49mm diameter, the case probably by Richard Phillip, hallmarked London 1861 (gross weight 102 grammes - gold weight 56 grammes), (the minute hand present but not fixed and interior glass missing) Provenance: The Martin Rosen Collection of Pocket Watches
