Chinese Yixing Pear-Shaped 19 Century Teapot with band of calligraphy to mouth, carved mark to base, the cover with a bird finial; base of spout with single hole. Small polished flake to tip of spout, short partial hairlines to handle, very tiny nibble to edge of cover, bird finial possibly re-stuck. Length from handle to spout 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm.).
