AN ELABORATE CHAM REPOUSSÉ GOLD RING
Champa, c. 9th – 10th century. The raised top of this gold ring forms an octagon with open parts, giving the impression to hold gemstones. The ring features an inlaid red glass stone in the center.
Provenance: From an important European private collection. Acquired in Asia between 1960 and 1970. A private owner, acquired from the above.
Condition: Shows traces of wear and age such as small dents.
