Bronzeapplike mit gefesseltem Eros, römisch, 1. - 2. Jhdt.Applike mit Darstellung des gefesselten Eros, dessen zentrale Figur deutlich aus dem Relief hervortritt. Zu beiden Seiten finden sich Anspielungen auf die Welt des Militärs: links Schild und Schwertscheide, rechts Helm, Tuba und Pfeilköcher. Mit herrlicher olivgrüner, glatter Patina. Offenbar in der Antike bereits sehr geschätztes und sekundär verwendetes Kleinkunstwerk von hoher Qualität. Gesicht des jugendlichen Eros an oberster Stelle leicht abgerieben. Höhe 5,2 cm.Provenienz:Aus einer in Süddeutschland aufbewahrten Privatsammlung.
