Classified as Wisdom or Mother Anuttarayoga Tantra the practices originate with the Chakrasamvara Cycle of Tantras.One face and two hands. The right hand raised and holds, in a manner held aloft, a vajra curved knife. The left holds to the heart a blood filled skull cup. Having three eyes and bared fangs. Having a crown of five dry human skulls and a necklace of fifty fresh. Adorned with a garland of flowers. Wearing a lower garment of tiger skin. Standing in a dancing manner with the left leg extended in a half vajrasana posture upon a wooden platform stand. The back of the statue shows a rectangular open cut-out. Extensive trace of gilt and dark-blue pigment on the hair. The underside with incised quatrefoil flori-form petal visvavajra mark surrounding the centralized DaiJi. Ming Dynasty and of the period.
