Lustrous, Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong famille jaune monochrome double gourd vases on stands. Fine porcelain potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, suspending a tall cylindrical neck, bulbous lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, with a narrow opening rim. Meaning the "yellow family". This is a variant of the famille verte enamel palette in which the ground is covered with yellow enamel. The exterior masterfully covered in an even coat of a lemon yellow glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The lemon yellow glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. Elegantly presented upon a carved hardwood stand with archaic ruyi pattern. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, and the carving. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, distinct, and the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
