Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng oxblood red monochrome porcelain bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, of a shallow vessel, broad wide cavetto, with a flaring opening lip, raised on a small round, slightly cylindrical raised concave footing. All reserved masterfully covered in an even coat of a oxblood red glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The oxblood red glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white underglaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a vertical six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings, Made in The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
