IMPORTANT DISH WITH OPERA SCENE FROM THE STORY OF THE THREE KINGDOMS. China. Qing dynasty. Kangxi period (1661-1722). Porcelain, famille verte with iron red and gold. The rim of the dish flower shaped, the wide foot ring slightly retracted. In the well, the scene "Battle of Jiameng Pass" is set in a landscape with pine. The juvenile Ma Chao on the yellow horse galloping to the right is able to destroy the shield of Zhang Fei by using a meteor hammer (liuxingchui). An older foot warrior with a gourd strapped on his back supports Ma Chao by assailing Zhang Fei with a pair of clubs. Another young soldier is standing next to the horse of Zhang Fei and holding a long flag. On the rim eight crane medallions, eight half clouds and eight half ruyi medallions on a background of linked flowers. On the back engraved flower petals and three flowering twigs painted in iron red and green enamel. Height 4.5cm, Ø 37cm. Underneath in underglaze blue a leaf mark in a double ring. Der Rand des Tellers blütenblattförmig, der weite Standring etwas eingezogen.Im Spiegel ist die Szene "Schlacht am Jiameng-Pass" in einer Landschaft mit großer Kiefer versetzt. Dem jugendlichen Ma Chao auf dem nach rechts galoppierenden gelben Pferd gelingt es mithilfe eines Meteorhammers (liuxingchui) den Schild des mit gezücktem Schwert reitenden Zhang Fei zu zerbrechen. Er wird dabei unterstützt durch einen Krieger mit einer Kalebasse auf dem Rücken, der mit zwei Keulen auf den Zhang Fei eindringt, neben dem ein weiterer junger Mann eine große Standarte hält.Auf der Fahne acht Kranichmedaillons, acht halbe Wolken- und acht halbe ruyi-Medaillons auf einem Fond von dichten Blüten. Auf der Rückseite eingravierte Blütenblätter und drei blühende Zweige in Eisenrot und grünem Email. Höhe 4,5cm, Ø 37cm. Im Boden in Unterglasurblau Blattmarke im Doppelring.
