本件大碗碗体厚实，碗呈花瓣形，敞口，斜壁，圈足，底足满釉，刮釉支烧。通体施白釉，施釉匀厚，花瓣口，花瓣内凹，有壁线，器型典雅，釉面滋润、精致，通体施白釉，釉层厚而润泽。碗内有若干开片。用花瓣作为碗的造型，起源于唐代，宋、金时期兴盛，延续到以后各朝。这一成型技法的使用，对实用器起到了很好的美化作用。如此体量，厚重大气，实在难得。
