PAIR OF GOLDED BRONZE AND PORCELAINE OIL LAMPS, NAPOLEON III period, consisting
of five feet formed by bent legs alternating with bearded man's masks, the barrel formed by a porcelain vase, with polychrome enamelled Chinese decoration, on one side, a dragon in a cloud on a gold background, in a reserve lined with nets and on the other, a dragon flying in the middle of bats, the collar decorated with a geometric frieze with volutes and peach flowers. The handles, formed by two bent legs ending in an antique woman's head, surmount a dying band of palmettes.
The
top of the lamp, decorated with a frieze of leaves and a frieze of gorgonian masks alternating with
rat heads.
