Anonymous sphere
based on the Copernicus heliocentric system, late 18th century - early 19th century.
Cardboard and wood sphere, mounted on a blackened wooden base, the planetary system is entirely mobile with in the centre: the sun represented in the form of a golden sphere with gold leaf, the earth (missing on this model) and its satellite powered by a mechanical tellurium (without its rope). The planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are present on moving rings with astronomical indications. The
fixed parts include two vertical rings: the neck of the solstices and the neck of the equinoxes as well as a horizontal ring: the circle of the ecliptic adorned with a zodiacal band with a double scale.
Sphere faded and incomplete from the earth, thick and clumsy
