玛哈嘎拉，又名大黑天。为藏传佛教密宗的主要护法神。此像展左站立，头向左侧倾斜，面生三目，头戴五骷髅冠，顶竖忿怒红髪，面相凶忿。上身饰璎珞，下身围兽皮，脖子上挂人头串，巨蟒盘于腰间。六手各执法器，，主臂右手执钺刀，左手捧充满鲜血的嘎巴拉碗 ；后方右手执手鼓、骷髅手串（已佚），左手则持钩索、弓箭。脚踩象头天神，下承覆式单层莲座，莲瓣饱满，整体铸造技艺精湛，刻工细致到位，鎏金厚实。为 18 世纪京作佛像的标准作品。
