A Kangxi Period, Chinese, Dehua/ Blanche-de-Chine, Buddhist Lion incense burner, the lion on a simple rectangular plinth, its right forepaw upon a brocade ball, with ribbon running through its open mouth, a narrow chimney at left. H: 10 1/2" (26.7cm) Provenance: Christie'sCondition: In good condition with a faint (0.4cm) glaze crack at the mouth of the chimney, & a shallow chip at the rear of the base.
