Description
Translation provided by Youdao
Made of thin porcelain this thin Cantonese styled bowl was made in the early 20th C. Its exterior is intricately decorated in a pink floral pattern which rests upon a gold ground. Disrupting this pattern are two illustrations on either side. Both illustrations are of the same two women however their postures differentiate between the two frames, alluding to the time that would have past when turning the bowl. It’s foot has a simple blue under glaze and its bottom well has a blue marking. Both the interior and exterior rim have the same organic pattern however the interior walls of the bowl are left white allowing for the bowl to appear transparent in the light. The well features a blue dragon. D: 5.2 by 2.5 in (6.22 by 6.35 cm) Condition: Appears to be in excellent condition with no signs of damage or repair.
