This late 19th century famille rose vase has incorporated the famille juane technique of a yellow ground into its color scheme. It’s rim is painted golds and its outer body consists of two patterns. The top pattern is thin and consists of red flowers against a white ground while the second takes up a majority of the surface. This main pattern is composed of illustrations which are framed against a yellow green and pink pattern. These illustrations depict several different kinds of birds on branches. The underside is glazed white. H:9 7/8 in.(25 cm) Condition: in good conditon only there is a hole drilled into the bottom of the vase. and wear off to the enamel
