This statue features two children :He He"painted in the famille rose style. The female figure appears to be laughing and standing with a water lily swung behind her back. Her face is painted in a way as to accentuate her blush and her dress is intricately painted with several different floral patterns. Adjacent to her a boy is seated, he too is laughing as he looks up at the girl. His face and clothes are painted in the same fashion and he appears to be opening a box in his hands. The oval box is fully opened and reveals a red cloth inside. Both children have painted toe nails. H: 13 3/8 in.(34 cm) Condition: in excellent condition free from any damage and repair.
