瓶口沿外卷，微呈盘口状，溜肩收腹，腹下渐收至底，高圈足外撇。主体装饰白地黑釉刻花卷草纹牡丹纹饰，其花茎粗壮，花叶饱满，刻工豪迈奔放，叶子再细笔勾划，于大气之中又透着一丝精致。整器典雅沉静，黑白对比醒目，彩绘、刻划花工艺并用。釉面滋润，画工精湛，刻工流利。类似参见2016年纽约佳士得曾上拍一件相似的白底黑花卷口瓶，成交价130万元。注：盒签印“山中商会古艺术品调研社大坂站”标识。“国立历史博物馆第一展览厅 69 2343”。
