A Chinese Kangxi period mirror-black Wujin jar and cover, the ovoid body and domed cover evenly covered in a lustrous black glaze with vestigial gilding in contrast to the white interior, the base with six character Kangxi mark within a double circle in underglaze blue (1662-1722) 19.5 cm high including cover
lightly crackled glaze with some small losses, the largest being at the base approx 0.5cm
most of the original gilt decoration has worn off
