GIBSON ES-335TD SEMI-HOLLOWBODY GUITAR, 1968, SERIAL #910804, L 42" Provenance: owned and played by Chuck Cole (b. 1942), professional blues guitarist who played back up guitar on several Muddy Waters recordings, headed up his own band and is an owner of C.L.C. Records. He named this guitar "Willie B" adter his first mother-in-law. he guitar has been partially modified with the additions of a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece and mirror pickguard. Guitar is tobacco sunburst, has 2 Humbuckers, mother-of pearl block inlays on fretboard and a mahogany neck. Original trapeze tailpiece is included in the original Gibson hardshell plush lined fitted case, L 44". Guitar and case both show heavy use.
