North Carolina (Randolph County) salt-glazed stoneware jar, attributed to the Webster Pottery, possibly Chester Webster, having three bands of incised lines extending from the flared neck to upper body, incised "2" within a upper shoulder to denote capacity and applied lug handles. 11 1/2" H. 2nd or 3rd qtr. 19th century.
