白玉玉料圓雕而成，局部受沁帶有褐色綹紋，玉質溫潤光澤、晶瑩潤白。瑞獸其狀若獅，獸首正面寬闊，雙眼圓睜直視，獸耳伏貼側邊，眉毛刻畫細緻，張口露齒，下連髯毛，生動立體。獸呈臥狀，四肢粗壯有力、屈曲收於身下，，背部微隆，細琢大連弧脊柱，如脊骨筋絡。再以浮雕勾勒腿部線條，展現肌肉力道。尾巴回卷貼臀，以陰線裝飾毛流，縷細如絲。 【參閱】：宋代玉獸，高4.9公分，現藏杭州歷史博物館。
