林良（1416-1480）明，南海（今广州）人。善画翎毛，取水墨为烟波出没，凫雁嚵唼容与之态，颇见清远。又善花卉，树木遒劲如草书。著色亦精巧。少时初为布政司奏役，布政使陈金假人名画，良从旁疵评，金怒欲挞之。良自陈其能。金试使临写，惊以为神。自此腾誉搢绅间。弘治（1488-1505）时拜工部营缮所丞，直仁智殿改锦衣卫百户。与四明吕纪先后供奉内廷.林良。林良
