An enamel, hairwork and gem-set mourning brooch/pendant, circa 1830, and an early 19th century hairwork and paste mourning pendant1st: The plaited hairwork panel within a floral black enamel and chased surround accented by seed pearls, to a Maltese cross of woven hairwork design, the borders of chased acanthus leaf design set with circular-cut garnets, the reverse inscribed 'MARY WID: of F.WATTS SHARPE DIED MARCH 26th 1838. AGED 68./N. SHARPE.
