A gold finger ring comprising a flat-section hoop with applied lozenges, granule to each shoulder, stepped bezel with inset garnet, intaglio profile of an ant. 4.27 grams, 24.79mm overall, 18.29mm internal diameter (approximate size British S 1/2, USA 9 1/4, Europe 20.63, Japan 19) (1"). Property of a Bristol collector; formerly part of his father's collection formed between 1960-late 1970s.
