A mixed group of jasper and agate gemstones with intaglio motifs comprising: a profile female bust; a profile female bust wearing a diadem(?); an anchor and dolphin on the stock; a seated female figure holding an upright staff, bird perched on her outstretched hand, 'HXE' (Echo?) below; each accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 3.8 grams total, 11-13mm (1/2"). Property of a Middlesex lady; acquired on the London art market in 2007; formerly in a private collection formed in the 1980s. [4]
