1st-2nd century AD. An olive green glass double unguentarium with rolled rim to each tube, large applied D-shaped handle with lateral tiered loops below. Cf. Lightfoot, C.S. Ancient Glass in National Museums Scotland, Edinburgh, 2007, item 460. 80 grams, 16.5cm (6 1/2"). From an important central London collection formed since the mid 1960s; thence by descent.
