A CANTON ENAMEL PORCELAIN VASE, QING China, 1644-1912. The vase with bulbous sides, a recessed circular base and a lobed everted lip, with coiled Buddhist lions and chilong in high relief, showing scenes possibly from Water Margin, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. Condition: One loss to the lip visibly and professionally filled (no spraying), otherwise excellent condition with some wear and traces of use. Provenance: Austrian private collection.
