Rev: CONSECRATIO legend with eagle standing facing wings spread and head left; mintmark KAA in exergue. RIC 472; Sear 12411.3.73 grams.Property of a Surrey, UK collector. Little is known of Nigrinian; he was grandson of Carus and and assumed to be the son of Carinus; he is believed to have died in infancy in 284 AD and his coins are all rare.
