A pair of turquoise-glazed composition plaques depicting the falcon-head of Horus; striated wig falling to the shoulders, long face with small eyes and small, high beak; a solar disc above the head; pierced at the base for attachment. 10.6 grams total, 27-28mm (1"). From the private collection of jewellery designer Natalia Josca (1933-2007), New York, USA; her collection formed personally from 1972-early 1980s, much of which was later made into designer jewellery.
