作品简介 为法文《环游世界》杂志于1860-1910年间发行的原版杂志，其中多篇关于中国内容的文章，记录了西方人眼中的第二次鸦片战争、甲午战争、庚子事件、日俄战争等，中并配以约翰·汤姆逊（John Thomson）等人照片为蓝本制作的版画，其中1864年卷本中中国内容尤为丰富，涉及上海、天津、北京的城市风貌、刑罚、建筑景观、军队守备等，并专门撰文描述圆明园，是英法联军火烧圆明园后最早揭露事实的西方文献之一。品相保存完好，不仅为研究早期中西方视觉传播的珍贵史料，也是收藏早期摄影作品的重要参考
