Early to mid 18th Century 'red walnut' and carved giltwood pier glass or wall mirror, probably George II, the later bevelled rectangular plate within shaped scroll cresting, carved flowerheads and projecting lower corners with ovolu-moulded borders, 68.5cm x 101cm Condition: Grain cracking to panel above mirror plate, general knocks to upper edge of scroll cresting, one section reattached and with noticeable split (right side of cresting), later bevelled mirror plate, minor crack to lower left corner of border, reverse has a number of vacant drilled holes, general scuffing to gilding which has been refreshed some years ago - **General condition consistent with age
