This is a whimsy piece by Debbie Hagstrom, an American artist who was born in Georgia and now claims Florida as her home. She used to live on Anna Maria Island, near Bradenton, and now lives in Ocala, Florida. She attended South Florida College Florida and has done shows all over Florida. She likes to work in clay and glass, and her pieces are very colorful and whimsical. The piece here is made of wood, colored wire, and glass beads, and it is titled "Creative Spirit" on the back. It is signed in the lower right and also on the back, and it it has Debbie's Ocala phone number on the back, too. The overall size is 19 1/4 x 7 1/4 in. Provenance: the Hirsch estate.
