A pair of writing examples from Southeast Asia dating to the 19th century. Includes: a framed Sanskirt manuscript page featuring 8 lines of writing in black and red, and a gilded plaque featuring 6 lines of Indonesian script, red stenciling, and an illustration depicting a winged figure. Dimensions: sight size: 5 inches tall X 22 1/4 inches wide; 12.7 cm tall X 56.5 cm wide. Frame size: 10 1/2 inches tall X 28 inches wide; 26.7 cm tall X 71.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The plaque has become dislodged from matting with minor surface wear to the edges. Neither have been examined out of frame.
