An Ixtlan del Rio, Nayarit Seated Figure West Mexico, c. 250 BC – 250 AD Hollow earthenware with red, black, and ocher paints. Seated cross-legged, a small bowl raised to shoulder by the proper left arm and hand, an over-sized head with open mouth, wearing a nose ring, earrings, and headband. Appears to be in good condition.
