A Chinese, early 20th C, porcelain, famille rose flower basin and brushpot; -the rectangular form is decorated with two mountainous river landscape scenes separated by two panels of inscriptions enclosed within gilt bamboo borders, all above a carved foliate scroll ground in pastel yellow, the interior and the base are both covered in a pale-blue glaze, a four character seal mark in iron-red at the base. -of tapered square section, each side is finely enameled with a white lotus, a cherry blossom branch, a bamboo tree, and a chrysanthemum, one on each face encircled by a cartouche,all above a similarly carved foliate scroll ground in pastel yellow, four feet at the base in the shape of ruyi heads in cobalt-blue. H: 3" (7.6cm) H: 4" (10.2cm) Condition: Both in excellent condition with no damage visible.
