Stephen Lewin (fl.1880-1910) 'At the old Cheshire Cheese, Fleet Street' Signed and dated '92 l.r., oil on canvas 90 x 115cm Condition report: Oil on canvas which is unlined with an artist supplier stamp for Newman of Soho Square, London on the reverse. The canvas tension is slightly slack and there are drawer in the corners of the canvas and minor undulations throughout. At the upper left corner is a convex deformation with paint loss which has been retouched. Overall the paint layer is in a very good condition. There is a thin layer of varnish is even and semi-glossy. The frame is in a good condition.
