A celestial shaped vase, globular body, long tapered neck forming an ovoid opening, with a concave footed base. The rim is patterned in thrashing Li-shui wave forms on double fine blue rings enclosed within a circle frame border. The exterior is adorned with Fu-bats amongst floral blooms and lotus vines. Along with the lotus flower symbolizing truth, fertility, and purity. Depictions are painted on top of a pure white underglaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman. The vase elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood base. Mark on base, a six underglazed blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters mark, QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty. See More
