Opaque pigments and black ink on paper, the vertical composition possibly a diplomatic sketch or a study of foreign costumes, depicting an Ottoman ambassador clad in green, with black fur overcoat and epaulettes, wearing a tall multi-folded green turban and a large ring with a red stone, possibly ruby or coral, on his little finger, an inscription in black ink to the lower left corner, mounted, glazed and framed.
