Persian poetic manuscript, calligraphed on black nastaliq, paper on two columns, opening with a beautiful illuminated unwan. The colophon is signed Salah b. Khwaja Abdul-Hussein in 1045 AH. Portraits of the ancient kings of Persia were added later.
Readers' notes and stamp indicating the exit from Iran in 1313H. (= 1935 solar calendar).
Beautiful binding without flap, papier-mâché painted and lacquered with floral decoration on the outside dish, and decorated with golden floral scrolls on the inside dish.
