Original home letter & Inventory (Mr. WenShi Liang). Mr. Dylan. Gold (1925-2006) and Mrs. Yuan Liang (1920-1998) were met in 1955, San Francisco, US. And then get married in June 1957. Mr. Dylan Gold & Mr. Kenji Kundeken (formerly known as an Artworks dealer in Naha city.) were met up and became good friend during Mr. Dylan Gold’s national service time in the US military base in Okinawa, Japan. Mr. Kenji Kundeken (1895-?) was the president of ‘Import & Export Trade Nagakura Shoji Co., Ltd. And he is also the honorary director of Tokyo Art Club, Osaka Art Club and Kyoto Art Club. He has even set up several branches and offices in Japan & HongKong thanks to his superior dealing skills. Mr. Gold was had a series of important collections during his national service time. Beside antiquities, some old catalogues which published by some famous Japanese Art Clubs were also been collected. The solidary relationship between Mr. Gold and Mr. Kenji Kudeken was built up. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Gold had received an important masterpiece when he finished his NS and heading back to the US, the details of this event was well recorded and described in the wooden case of this masterpiece. Mrs. Yuan Liang was born and raised in a rich family in Shanghai, China. Her father Mr. WenShi Liang was running some Artwork shops and pawnshops. Influenced by her family, she had keen interest in arts and was showing a good level of aesthetic sense when she was a little girl. And she started to pursue her study in US since 1946, and never went back to China again. China was experiencing a huge social and political unrest in 1947, serious inflation struck in ShangHai. Mr. WenShi Liang was so worried about the situation and started to pack & Ship his own collections to her daughter Miss. Yuan Liang in the US. Details of Mr. WenShi Liang’s collection can be checked by a packing list of Markenzie & Co., Ltd. as the hardcopy of the packing list is still kept by Mr. Liang’s family. And the name and quantity of these magnificent porcelain arts from different dynasties, precious jade ornaments, paintings & Buddha statues can be counter reviewed by the family letter between Mr.WenShi Liang and Miss. Yuan Liang. Gold)(1925-2006)先生与杨媛(1920-1998)女士结识于1955年的美国旧金山,并于1957年六月结为伉俪. 迪伦先生早年在美军日本冲绳基地服役,期间与那霸市古董商久首坚宪二结为挚友. 久手坚宪二(1895-?)日本永藏商社社长,东京美术俱乐部,大阪及京都美术俱乐部名誉董事,主要经营中国和朝鲜古美术,门类涉及瓷器,书画,青铜器等等,种类繁多.永藏商社在久首先生悉心经营下,在日本本土及香港设立多家分店及办事处.在日服役期间,迪伦先生收藏了众多古代艺术品,不乏众多附有日本各大美术俱乐部早期出版目录精品,继而成为永藏商社的座上宾,值得一提的是在迪伦先生役满之际,在久首家中获得一件久求不得的稀世藏品,其中缘由详细记录在藏品木盒内板中,可在此标的照片与描述中看详情。 杨媛女士出生在上海一富裕家庭,父亲杨文仕(生卒不详)经营多家古董店铺及当铺.受家庭熏陶,杨媛女士对艺术造诣不凡,于1946年前后游学美国,由于各种原因再未归国.1947年中国国内动荡,上海物价暴涨,民不聊生,杨文仕先生对政局深感不安,把多年收藏珍品交付英商隆茂公司托运给身在美国的女儿,另寄有家书及物品清册以备查勘,其中不乏各朝瓷器,玉器 佛像精品. 1957年,戈尔德伉俪婚定居在芝加哥,宅邸内陈列各类中外艺术品,俨然是一个生活艺术博物馆。他们把这些古董收藏融入到生活状态之中,伴二人度过了一生。
