瓷全品鼓墩为古代坐具，因形状似鼓而得名，又因上面多覆盖绣花丝巾，也称绣墩。此类瓷质青花鼓墩流行于明中晚期。此拍品周身以青花为装饰，并于腹部上下两端饰以乳白色鼓丁。腹部饰有卷草及宝相花，以大片的缠枝花为装饰。整件器物青花色泽清晰，纹样罗列有章法，装饰繁而不乱，富于层次，并参考了铜器制作的工艺，是当时瓷器绣墩产品的典型代表。
