瓷有老修，口沿缺肉本品敦实浑厚，虽无彩釉装饰，然线条有力，古拙雄劲，其接坯痕明显，更见朴拙之气。所敷饰纯白之釉，莹白静润，姿态雍容，古朴之中难掩恣肆豪放之气度。底部涩胎无釉，胎质坚致精良，露出斑驳的垫烧痕，时代特征明显，本品当为明代内府之用器，历经五百年沧桑，宝光依旧，品格自是不凡。
