Lots 1074 and 1075, together with other noteworthy lots in this catalogue, form part of an exceptional collection amassed by husband and wife Canadian professionals between 1994-2000 while living in Hong Kong, Japan and other locales and traveling in China, Japan and Taiwan. Some highlight pieces were acquired from Dr Patrick Wang, owner of Orientique (Hong Kong), a well-respected boutique specialising in Chinese antiques and works of art.
