A sterling silver two-handled trophy with lid. The body of the trophy has a gilded interior and heavy repousse floral decoration that flows onto the raised and scalloped base. The body is inscribed: "Ladies Challenge Cup presented to the 2nd Surrey Croydon Rifle Volunteers, by their friends issued to C. Browning Hall Esq., 1861, and to Captain Henry Bonus, 1862-1863."
