提要：此书为清顺治精刻本，版式纸张全明末风尚。序言有顺治丙申(1656)杨廷鉴、吕官两家序言及张能鳞自序。张能鳞系顺治四年进士，潜心理学，以邱浚所撰《大学衍义补》卷帙浩繁冗余，遂裁正冗文，取其精要成编。清史列传载张氏有《儒宗理要》、《西山文集》、《诗经传说取裁》数种传世，独不见此书，国图亦未见，《**古籍善本总目》不收，确清初珍本。此本初刻初印，纸墨古旧，颇为漂亮。
