提要：是书为清代元和释祖观(张京度)所撰两种诗集，一为《通隐堂诗存》四卷，为其出家前诗的合集；二为《梵隐堂诗存》十卷，为其出家后诗的合集。两书均为纸捻毛装，行格款式一致。分别为清同治五年通济盦、同治六年五百梅花草堂刻本。刊刻精整，刷印清晰，可见为试行初印样本，颇为难得。 释祖观，字觉阿，俗名张京度，号莲民，清元和人。在常州天宁寺与父母及弟同时出家，受具戒。庚申避乱太湖冲山岛，为募捐田百余亩，建仓于山颠，遇饥则赈之，山中人尤感其德。未几示寂，众老少咸顶礼**之。钤印：王伊之印、聘三
