A Chinese agate carving dating from the 19th century. The carving features a small vase with a bird and peach branches. It is accompanied by a wooden stand. Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 7 cm tall X 4.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Good condition with a few miniscule chips. Provenance: From Mr. C*** in Northern California. These ****s were from Mr. C***'s grandfather, who was the owner of Chang Mao Yang Hang bank in Shanghai during the British concession in the early 1900s.
