A Chinese powder blue Cong vase of typical square section form with elephant mask and ring handles on each side, evenly covered with a lustrous powder-blue-glaze thinning at the edges, the base bears a six-character Guangxu mark (1875-1908) but probably 20th century, 31 cm high For a similar example of this shape and glaze please see Christie's (sale 7878) 'Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art' Lot 318 - 9th November 2010
