白玉质地，雕作方印，周身有红沁包裹。此印章特殊之处是印钮的形制，为极为少见的蛙形钮。古代印章的印钮多为龟、螭、辟邪、狮、虎、马、羊等，以青蛙为钮实属少见，在魏晋时期偶见蛙钮于铜印中出现。另外，此印章印钮与印面的比例，与常规印章也有所不同，印钮占据了器物主体，方形印面矮平。整器风格古朴，具有南北朝玉印风格。
