A D-shaped sheet gold vessel with flared mouth, strap handles to the shoulders, suspension chain, separate lid with rosette ornament; mounted on a stand. 24.3 grams total, 47mm including stand (1 3/4"). London art market since 1996; prior to that on the Japanese art market; accompanied an independent specialist report and valuation by graduate gemmologist and jewellery expert Anna Rogers, GIA GG, BA, Gem-A, ref. no.167577/7/10/2020; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.10124-167577.
